Project aims

• Promote the social integration of migrant women/women from ethnic groups and enhance their opportunities towards employability

• Initiate an intercultural dialogue with impact on those communities to trigger awareness of the importance of cultural and linguistic

diversity in EU

• Offer learning pathways to migrant women/women from ethnic groups

• Develop innovative practices in adult education and their transfer

• Offer a model methodology to teachers/ trainers who teach multicultural groups

• Improve pedagogical approaches and the management of adult education organisations

Project outcomes

• Market research: educational needs from the viewpoint of enterprises and migrant women

• Interactive learning course for migrant women

• Innovative pedagogical guidelines for teachers/trainers of migrant women


Target groups

1. Female migrants and women from ethnic minorities

2. Teachers/ Trainers of those female migrants


Activities

• Establish national and European networks of female migrants, teachers/trainers and enterprises/ educational organisations

• Participation in transnational meetings

• National surveys to generate educational needs from the viewpoint of enterprises and female migrants

• Creation of an interactive course and an online Self-Assessment-Tool for migrant women

• Creation of model pedagogical guidelines for teachers and trainers

• Focus workshops to involve the adult learners in the development of the project outcomes

• On-going monitoring

• Dissemination of on-going activities and outcomes

• An international conference in Rome

• Evaluation activities
